CIOs didn’t need an invitation to another expo.
They did need genuine 1-on-1 practical and inspiring problem-solving exchanges.
What would happen if we stripped assumptions about what a corporate event should be, and created those conversations – reinventing everything from experiences, to stands, to canapes?
With Japan the home of innovation, and NTT DATA, we staged Mirai’26 – an immersive Tokyo night market, where the world’s best gathered under lanterns and neon, in a sushi-fuelled celebration of discovery.
Entering through two neon-lit tunnels with life-size street scenes, day turned into night, Battersea into Tokyo.
Under a canopy of starlight, Japanese street food helped conversations sizzle, Streetfighter and Super Mario in the Cyber Arcade added some nostalgic fun, and robo dog captured hearts and minds. Over 40 ‘Zashiki Hubs’ became magnets for conversations about the broadest range of technologies and sectors, whilst zones were created for Startups and Scaleups, Innovation and AI specifically.
The grand stage hosted a stellar set of speakers, from household-name technologists to emerging client leaders, with deep content, and a smaller Market Square Theatre was the platform for rapid-fire insights delivered every 15 minutes.
This campaign was all about giving a remarkable and productive live experience to a highly targeted senior audience.
